FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE SCHEME
Presently, Raffles Girls' School operates two
financial assistance schemes to help our needy
students to encourage them to continue with their
education, and motivate them to strive for greater
achievements. The two financial assistance schemes
are:
- Independent Schools Bursary (ISB)
- Support An RGS Pupil Scheme (SRGS)
Application Procedures
Singapore Citizen pupils who
wish to apply for financial assistance can submit
the online application
. After online
submission, applicants are required to print out the
application form and submit to the school's Finance
Department together with all required documents
before the new academic year.
All
applications must enclose photocopies of all the
following documents:
- Birth certificate & NRIC (both sides) (if any) of pupil & sibling(s)
- NRIC of parent(s) / guardian(s) (both sides)
- Birth certificate & passport of pupil & sibling(s)
- Identification document & passport of parent(s) / guardian(s)
- Medical certification of handicapped sibling(s) or parent(s) (if
applicable)
- Certification of divorce or separation of parents (if applicable)
- Certification of death of parent(s) (if applicable)
- Latest pay slips / employment letters & income tax assessment returns &
CPF statements showing the latest 12 months contribution history of
parent(s) / guardian(s) and other working family members in the household
- For self-employed parent(s) / guardian(s) and other family members
in the household, latest income tax assessment returns & CPF statements
showing the last 12 months contribution history & the completed
self-employment declaration form
- For unemployed parent(s)/guardian(s) and other family members in the
household, CPF statements showing last 12 months contribution history &
unemployment declaration forms must be completed and enclosed with
photocopies of proof of unemployment (eg. letter of
retrenchment/employment termination, etc.)
- Latest pay slips/Scholarship letters & CPF statements showing the
last 12 months contribution history of sibling(s) above 16 years old
receiving full time education & regular allowances/stipend
- Student pass & letter of certification from educational institutions
of sibling(s) above 16 years old receiving full time education (if any)
- A letter from parent / guardian stating family financial status and
reasons for application is required
All
applications must be supported with all the relevant documents stated
above.
Applications
without the required supporting documents or incomplete applications
will lead to delays in the processing of the applications or will NOT be
processed at all.
